Building Ahead of the Curve: How CSCI Is Investing in Technology, Talent, and Long-Term Growth

From AI-backed operational systems to workforce expansion and strategic market growth, see how CSCI is building the infrastructure to support Florida’s next generation of residential construction

Growth in construction doesn’t happen by chance. It requires planning, discipline, and a willingness to invest before the market demands it.

For more than three decades, CSCI has built its reputation as one of Florida’s leading structural shell contractors by staying focused on the fundamentals: quality execution, strong partnerships, and continuous improvement. Today, as the residential construction industry navigates shifting market conditions, rising costs, and evolving buyer demand, the company is doubling down on the investments that position it for long-term success.

Preparing for Growth Before It Arrives

While many companies respond to growth after it occurs, CSCI has long believed in preparing for it in advance.

That philosophy is reflected in the company’s continued investments in technology, leadership development, workforce expansion, and operational infrastructure designed to support builders throughout Florida.

The results have followed. CSCI recently reported a 16% increase in revenue year-over-year while significantly expanding market share across the state. The company also achieved a historic milestone in March, recording more than 650 housing starts—the highest monthly start volume in its history.

But for CSCI President Daniel Goldburg, those numbers are simply the outcome of a larger strategy.

“Winning work is only the beginning,” Goldburg said. “Our focus remains where it has always been—execution. Our responsibility is to deliver for our builder partners, support our teams in the field, and maintain the standards that have built our reputation over the last 30-plus years.”

Technology Designed for Construction Reality

One of the most significant investments underway is the development of CSCI Central V3, the latest generation of the company’s proprietary enterprise resource planning platform.

Unlike many contractors that rely exclusively on third-party software, CSCI has spent nearly two decades refining custom-built systems specifically designed around the realities of large-scale residential construction. The next-generation platform will further enhance scheduling, communication, operational visibility, and project execution across the company’s statewide footprint.

To support continued innovation, the company recently welcomed Steven Martinez as IT Director, further strengthening its internal technology leadership team.

“Technology should create clarity, not complexity,” Goldburg said. “We’re investing in tools that help our teams perform at a higher level and create a better experience for our builders, trade partners, and employees.”

Expanding Across Florida

Beyond technology, CSCI continues to grow its presence throughout key Florida markets.

The company recently secured work with multiple builders participating in Kingston, a new 10,500-unit master-planned community in Estero, while also expanding business development efforts throughout the Tampa Bay region and Florida’s Central West Coast.
These opportunities reflect the confidence builders place in experienced partners capable of delivering quality, speed, and consistency at scale.

Built for Every Market Cycle

Since its founding in 1993, CSCI has successfully navigated multiple economic cycles, housing shifts, and industry challenges. That experience continues to shape the company’s long-term approach.

Rather than reacting to changing conditions, CSCI remains focused on building the systems, leadership, and operational discipline necessary to perform regardless of the environment.

“The companies that separate themselves over time aren’t necessarily the ones that avoid challenges,” Goldburg said. “They’re the ones that prepare for them.”

With continued investments in technology, talent, and operational excellence, CSCI remains focused on supporting its builder partners while positioning the company for sustainable growth throughout Florida for years to come.
